At The CPA Oasis, we provide automation tools, Excel templates, accounting guides, and tips.
Accounting Automation Tools / Skills
Boost your productivity with accounting automation tools. The tools run online, no downloads are required. Certain premium tools are powered by AI (OpenAI) and require you to input your own OpenAI API key. This means your data flows directly between your browser and OpenAI under your own account. The CPA Oasis never sees, stores, or has access to your data or API key. You stay in full control of your information. Setting up an API key can be done very quickly. You can refer to this guide to see how you can create and access your own API key.
Excel Accounting Templates
Make your accounting tasks easier with Excel templates, which you can also tailor to your specific circumstances.
Accounting Resources and Guides
We provide accounting guides and other resources. We break down standards into step-by-step solutions.
Accounting Tips and Insights
We also provide more practical accounting tips and updates. This lighter content keeps you informed about industry trends, professional tips, and accounting tricks.
Requests & Suggestions From You
Have an idea for a new tool or a template on this website, or have any kind of feedback? We would love to hear it, just send us a message through the email at oasis@thecpaoasis.com. For any technical issues with the website, you can also reach us at the same address.
What To Expect
The tools, templates, and guides are working materials: first working drafts you can learn from, adapt, and build on. They are not professional advice and not finished deliverables, and they are no substitute for your own judgment. The tools prepare the work; you review it and decide.
The library changes and grows over time. Tools and content get added, updated, replaced, and sometimes retired, and mistakes can happen and do happen along the way. If you spot one, email oasis@thecpaoasis.com.
AI-powered tools run on your own OpenAI API key: your data flows between your browser and OpenAI under your own account, and we never see, store, or have access to it. What you upload is your call and your responsibility, so anonymize anything confidential first. The full Terms of Use are below.
Terms of Use
Last updated: 29 August 2026.
These terms govern your use of thecpaoasis.com: the free content, the tools, the templates, and the Premium membership. They are written in plain language on purpose. If anything is unclear, email oasis@thecpaoasis.com and ask before you buy.
1. What this is, and what it is not
The CPA Oasis provides educational tools, templates, guides, and tips for accounting and finance professionals, students, and business owners: working materials that help you stay at the front of where accounting meets technology. They are first working drafts you can learn from, adapt, and build on. They are not professional advice, not finished professional deliverables, and not a substitute for your own professional judgment. Using the site does not create a client or advisory relationship, and The CPA Oasis is not an accounting, audit, tax advisory, or law firm. You remain responsible for your own records, filings, and decisions.
2. Premium membership
Premium is a one-time payment shown at checkout. It gives you access to the premium tools, templates, guides, and other member content for one year from purchase. It does not renew automatically; when that one year ends, access ends unless you buy again. Some premium tools are powered by AI through OpenAI and require your own OpenAI API key. The library changes over time: we add, update, replace, and retire tools and content, and we do not promise that any specific item stays available, though we aim for the library to grow, not shrink.
3. Payment and withdrawal
Payment is taken once at checkout, processed by Stripe. Purchases are final, to the extent permitted by law. At checkout you expressly request immediate access to your membership and acknowledge that you thereby lose the statutory right of withdrawal, where such a right applies. Rights that mandatory law grants you despite this acknowledgment remain unaffected. We may issue a refund in an individual case at our discretion; a discretionary refund is not an entitlement and does not create one for anyone else.
4. Your account and fair use
One account is for one person; keep your login private. You may use the tools, the outputs they generate, and adapted templates in your own work and in work you do for your employer or clients. The site content and tools remain ours or our licensors’; your inputs and outputs remain yours. You may not share your login or resell access, republish or redistribute premium content, scrape the site or hit the tools with automated traffic, try to bypass the security or membership checks, or upload unlawful content or content you have no right to upload. Accounts that clearly breach these rules can be suspended or closed. You can delete your account at any time from your account page.
5. Your data, OpenAI, and other services
AI tools run through OpenAI using your own API key: your inputs flow between your browser and OpenAI under your own account, on OpenAI’s terms. We never see, store, or have access to your data or your key, and we are not responsible for the content you choose to upload or for how OpenAI processes it. Do not upload confidential or personal data unless you have anonymized it first or are comfortable with a potential exposure; you confirm you have the right to upload whatever you upload. Some tools also draw on public data sources such as the European Central Bank and the Federal Reserve, and the apps run on Google Cloud infrastructure. For personal data on the site itself, see the Privacy Policy.
6. Accuracy and review
The tools automate methods and the AI tools generate drafts; both can contain errors, and neither knows your specific facts. Review every output before it enters your records, workpapers, or filings. Standards, rates, and thresholds change over time, so verify anything time-sensitive against the current rules. If you find a mistake, report it to oasis@thecpaoasis.com.
7. Warranties, liability, and availability
The site, content, tools, and outputs are provided as described in these terms and on the relevant tool pages, and otherwise, to the extent permitted by law, without further warranties: we do not warrant that they are error-free, complete, suited to your specific situation, or available without interruption. At checkout you expressly acknowledged the educational, working-draft nature of the service and that outputs can contain errors; that acknowledgment forms part of your agreement. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses caused by relying on content or outputs without the review described in section 6, and our total liability for all claims connected to the service is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including your mandatory consumer rights.
8. Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the site evolves; the version in force when you bought your membership applies to that purchase. If you are a consumer, you also keep the mandatory protections of the country where you live. If something goes wrong, email oasis@thecpaoasis.com; we reply within two business days.
